My Favorite Indian Skincare Ingredients

Since childhood, I have always used natural skincare. I had a lot of acne issues while I was in school. I think we have all fought that pimple wala phase in our life. “I am not pretty anymore” “My face looks bad” and blah.. blah… After trying every possible solution for my skincare. I have figured out – what works for my skin type (Combination). These ingredients/Products are easily available and quite affordable. Many people have sensitive skin and they get allergies using even natural remedies. So, be very cautious of what you put into your skin.

I just want to say – Feeling fit from inside is more important. Eat right, Stay hydrated, take care of your skin and do exercise. It will definitely help you improve your skin. So, here are my top pickup skincare ingredients.

Aloe Vera gel: I love using aloe vera gel every day and especially in Summer. Because of its cooling properties, it saves your skin from sunburn, irritation and reduces acne problems. It also helps to reduce dark spots, makes your skin glowy, and relaxes your skin. Apply it before sleeping to get the best result. I can’t ask for a better natural sleeping mask than this.

Multani Mitti: I have used Multani Mitti since childhood. It helps to control oil, acne, removes dead skin cells, blackheads, whiteheads, and impurities from the skin. Just apply it for 10-15 mins and wash it off and see the change. It is best for acne-prone skin. It is best if you can get the powdered form and customize the application according to your requirements.

Lemon: In summer our skin tends to get oily and greasy. lemon consists of “Vitamin C”. I usually apply lemon with honey to balance the secretion of oil on my face. Apply it for 10-15 mins and wash it off. It will make your skin smooth and tighten the pores of your skin.

Rose Water: One of the best products to apply on the face. It acts as a toner, removes dirt, oil, impurities from the skin, and gives you a glowy look. I apply it after taking bath. It helps my skin to feel so fresh.
